Salon Policy


We strongly encourage you to reserve your appointments well in advance.  We open the schedule three months out, with a new month opening on the first of each month.  Please email or call with any requests.


We offer a cancellation list if the desired appointment is not available.  We update our list daily and make every effort to contact guests in the case of schedule changes. 

Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy

When rescheduling/cancelling an appointment please notify the salon 24 hours prior to the appointment time. For appointments such as foils, balayage or Cezanne treatments (2+ hours) we request 48 hours notice of cancellation/rescheduling. 


In the case of a reschedule/cancellation outside of policy you will be charged a rescheduling fee of $20 to reschedule the services.  In the case of a no-show to an appointment, all standing appointments will be released and you will be charged a $30 rescheduling fee to re-book services (same appointment times cannot be guaranteed). The salon reserves the right to refuse advance reservations in the case of multiple reschedules/cancellations outside of policy or no-show incidents. 

We have a strict cancellation policy in place to protect or stylists and guests.  Cancellation/rescheduling outside of this policy drastically affects the stylists' ability to fill the time you had reserved.  These incidents also affect our guests on the cancellation list by not allowing the salon enough time to contact them for the now open appointment time.  

We understand that accidents happen, people get sick and/or emergencies occur.  We will do our best to accommodate these rare occasions with grace. We do record these occurrences so as to prevent abuse of the policy. We understand this may come across as shrewd, our goal is to be preventative in order to protect and accommodate our team and guests.

Late Arrival Policy

We do our absolute best to accommodate all services for guests who arrive after their scheduled appointment time but unfortunately cannot guarantee full service availability. In the case of arriving more than 15 minutes after the appointment time we may be forced to reschedule the service or limit the services to avoid imposing on other guest's previously reserved services or stylist/salon hours. 


We accept Cash, Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express, Salon Elan Gift Certificates, Aveda Pure Privilege rewards certificates and Personal Checks (with ID). 



We love children and we welcome them to enjoy services, providing there is a caregiver available and not having a service performed. Our salon environment is not appropriate or safe for children without caregiver supervision. Due to safety concerns children may not wait in the service areas for their caregiver to complete a service or be unattended in the retail area.  We thank you for your understanding.


Secondary guests

We love our families and friends who like to share their salon experience, however unless each party is scheduled for service there is no way to guarantee space for a secondary guest in the same service area. This creates safety hazards and impacts the experience of other guests. We do have an outdoor patio in front of the salon and a waiting bench in the retail area if a guest would like to wait during your service.

Our Service Guarantee/Return Policy: 

HAIRCUT GUARANTEE:  Our haircuts are guaranteed within one week of service, with the purchase of recommended home maintenance.


CHEMICAL PROCEDURE GUARANTEE:  We guarantee all chemical hair procedures within one week, with the purchase of recommended home maintenance. 


RETAIL GUARANTEE:  All products, except makeup are guaranteed for exchange or credit within 30 days of purchase with Salon Élan receipt.  Returns after 30 days or without receipt will not be accepted.  All makeup is final sale.   


All services are a la carte and service pricing may change depending on your exact service needs.

Salon Élan will not share or sell personal information to any outside party, without your consent 1 . Salon Élan reserves the right to change its policies at any time by notifying guests of the existence and location of the new or revised policies 2 .
